OUR PRODUCTS

Bioinks

The formulation of bioinks is based on proteins and polysaccharides that provide the final products with stability in working conditions and the ability to modify the mechanical properties depending on the application, achieving products with high dimensional quality.

Native collagen

Bioink of native type I collagen (bovine, porcine). Collagen is a fibrous protein consisting of three α-chains forming a triple helix, providing ECM with tensile strength. This bioink has been developed specifically for 3D bioprinting and advanced cell culture applications.

Gelatin

Cross-linked gelatin bioink (bovine, porcine, marine). Gelatins are proteins produced by the hydrolysis of collagen. These proteins are heteropolymers constituted of amino acids linked by peptide bonds, they have the RGD sequence. Bioinks stable at 37 °C. This bioink has been developed for 3D bioprinting and advanced cell culture applications

Plant protein-cellulose

Bioink based on plant protein (soy protein) with marine cellulose (red algae). Soy protein is composed of albumin and globulin with globular structure. Some soy protein peptides, such as lunasin, possess RGD sequences necessary to promote stable cell adhesion and are commonly used in skin, with muscle cells and with mesenchymal stem cells. Bioink ideal for making 10 cm-scaffolds or larger. This bioink has been developed for 3D bioprinting and advanced cell culture applications.

Protein-UV

Gelatin bioink (bovine, porcine, marine) with riboflavin. Gelatins are proteins produced by the hydrolysis of collagen and possess RGD sequences necessary to promote cell adhesion and growth. This bioink is ideal for ocular defects and cross-link with UV light (370-404 nm). This bioink presents an adequate viscosity at 34 °C maintaining its structure during deposition and cross-linking.

Chitosan

Chitosan bioink. The chitosan used is a polysaccharide obtained from the exoskeleton of crustaceans. The bioink of this biopolymer is physically interacted with pectin providing stability at 37 °C, being ideal for skin applications. It presents very good mucoadhesion and cohesion on skin.
